Abstract

Street photography tradition is developed in a close dialog with the space-time dinamic changes in modern city. The attitude of free walking in urban space - wich started up with "flaneur" - is a practice that will underlie this school along the twentieth century. As an historical methodologic foundation to this practical research in Arts, wich will have as a final product a visual narrative edited and consolidated as a Photobook, we intend to annalyse the production of some of the main street photography authors in the twentieth century. Besides the field of language, the research will approach the works from a methodologic viewpoint, discussing the different relationship these authors undertake towards urban space through their works.
