Abstract The project aims the understanding of the dynamics of the formation of networks which present characteristics of neural networks. These neural networks will be connected with an external and static network. This connection attempts to simulate the participation of external stimulus in the development of neural networks in biological systems. Since this is a first project in a relatively new area, the project has a strong emphasis on the development of fundamental knowledge and techniques for the study of networks and their dynamical behavior.
