Abstract

To contribute information on ecological restoration, this study aimed to evaluate the effect of sub doses (drift) of glyphosate, glyphosate + 2,4-D, 2,4-D, dicamba and picloran the survival and growth of the species Zeyheria tuberculosa (Vell.), Bureau, Bauhinia forficata L., Croton floribundus Spreng, Ceiba speciosa ( A. St. Hill ) Ravenna, Heliocarpus americanus L. The experiment will be conducted in a green house at the Center for Agricultural Sciences, Federal University of São Carlos, Araras, SP. The experimental design for each herbicide will completely randomized design with treatments arranged in a factorial 5 (species) x 10 (doses) with four replications. Tree species after establishment, will be sprayed with 0, 2.5, 10, 20, 40, 60, 75, 90 and 100% of the recommended rate of each herbicide studied. It will assess the percentage of phytotoxicity, height, stem diameter, leaf area, and dry mass of shoots and roots of species. (AU)
