Abstract

This is a research project being developed under the research program "The history of teaching in institutions of teacher education in Brazil - 1827-2011", which will run the research project with the same name, be started in 2012, which has as its central objective to identify, gather, select, organize, analyze and interpret aspects of teaching, such as discipline and knowledge in the field of teacher training institutions in Brazil between 1827 and 2011. In this sense, such a project, to be developed at Masters level, aims generally locate, identify, gather, select, organize, analyze, interpret aspects of the body of knowledge, considered to be the proper discipline of the Institute of Education " Leonidas of Amaral Vieira "between the years 1953 and 1975. Still, we hope to contribute to the production of a history of Didactics in Brazil to assist in finding solutions to the problems of education in the present, and the development of related research. This formulation originated from the belief that researches seeking to systematize, analyze, and interpret aspects of the history of the disciplines in the various teacher training institutions in Brazil contribute to a history of these disciplines in Brazil, for a history of teacher education in Brazil and, in the limits, contribute to the history of education in Brazil. Thus, this project is justified, centered in the history of the body of knowledge considered to be own discipline of Didactic, the extinct Institute of Education "Leonidas of Amaral Vieira" in which, as well as other Education Institutes, created in cities state of São Paulo, the training of teachers was considered of excellence and, therefore, conferred a certain status to the teacher (a). Hence the formulation of this project, documentary, the sources, and historical approach. The method of analysis and interpretation of data and information collected will be of the "textual aspects of configuration," according to Magnani (1993, 1997) / Mortatti (2000), based on the procedures of location, meeting, selection, arrangement and analysis of the corpus documentary.
