Abstract

This research has the main objective of continuing studies of scientific initiation applied the hydrographic basin of springs Balneario da Amizade, UGRHI Pontal Paranapanema, objectiving to contribute to the environmental planning and the environmental zoning of this basin. Intended to generate subsidies to public political management of water resources by CBH - Pontal Paranapanema, especially in relation to the Development Plan and Environmental Protection Act (PDPA) and the creation of Water Protection and Springs Recovery Area (APRM) in the high course of the Santo Anastacio River. The methodology includes literature review about environmental planning, hydrographic basin, zoning environmental, water resources management, permanent preservation areas, environmental legislation, and other. It also includes the review, update and complement of previous studies about environmental planning of this basin, monitoring the process of discussion and approve of the PDPA and the creation of the APRM; will be done works on study area and thematic maps to identify permanent preservation areas (APP), environmental problems and APP's environmental situation in this basin. Environmental zoning proposal will be held in the study hydrographic basin, including APP, which comprise areas of restriction of occupation, provided the State Law - SP 9.866/1997. The research results will be made available to CBH Pontal do Paranapanema and the Municipalities of Presidente Prudente and Alvares Machado. (AU)
