Abstract

The proposal involves the study of algebras of quaternions and octonions and their applications to Physics. Starting with the description of generalized octonions and split octonions, we would like to describe electromagnetism and the Lorentz transformation in the ten-dimensional space time. The proposed study will provide a basis for the further investigation of super-symmetry and super string theory.
