Abstract

The project aims to study the effect of aerodynamic fairings installed in a landing gear. It follows the work carried out by the undergraduate student Leonardo Costa Almeida, who worked on the subject last year. The research will also involve the doctoral student Adson Agrico Paula and supervised by Prof. Dr. Julio Romano Meneghini, and will be carried out simultaneously with the undergraduate student Alessandro D'Alessio de Souza, who will simulate the flow around the landing gear fairings. The intention is that the experimental and numerical analysis will jointly give a better understanding of the phenomenon.
