Abstract

This research investigates, instigated by Macherey's assertive in Histoire des dinosaures (1999), how Pierre Bourdieu establishes the homology working between different social fields. I formulated for such investigation, two provisional hypotheses. The first, developed from Macherey's assertion, is to investigate the immanent role Bourdieu attributes to the economic, accepting or rejecting the necessity of establishing it as a determination in last instance. The other, places the habitus as the universal principle which ensures the structural homology between the fields. To insert this problem precisely, I try to expose a bourdieusiana praxeology, its fundamental concepts and the internal dynamics between the fields. The ambition of this research is not to effectively solve the exposed problem , but to contribute to the debate indicated and advance on the epistemic apprehension of Bourdieu's sociological theory.
