Abstract

In this project will be evaluated the frequency components of the spurious oscillations that are present in lumped model response in representation of transmission lines, which do not occur in the distributed model. To perform this analysis, the response of the lumped model will be written as state equations and the solutions of these equations are obtained by numerical and analytical methods. Then once obtained the frequency spectrum of the lumped response, it will be compared with the frequency spectrum of the response of distributed model, whose response is considered a reference. Analysis will be conducted in the models used to represent three-phase lines of 440 kV, and the choice of this line is due to the fact that it is widely used in the Brazilian power system. Since high frequency components of the discrete model parameters are known and measured, an analog filter is proposed for minimize the effects of these components, performing lumped model more accurate and reliable.
