Abstract

The objective of this project is to study ultra cold fermi gases. To this intent we will develop an efficient and scalable Diffusion Monte Carlo algorithm for parallel simulations. Prof. Schmidt is a visiting professor of the program "Science without borders" and has a long time collaboration with my advisor. I have worked with Dr. Schmidt during his first stay in our institution, so the proposed project will continue during the next scheduled visits in 2014 and 2015. (AU)
