Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the data record actions and services in monitoring the treatment of TB in reference outpatient before and after implantation of a system to data record in Ribeirão Preto - SP. Descriptive and analytical epidemiological study, investigation type, through interviews with health professionals who work in the control of tuberculosis in the municipality, as well as a registration system for monitoring TB patients who started and completed treatment in the period January 2011 to December 2013. This study will be developed in stages which include direct observation of routine health services through a structured questionnaire (Form I) and data collection (Form II and III), prepared based on the constituent elements of the Health Care Networks and attributes (simplicity, acceptability and quality of data). And subsequently the data collected will be analyzed using descriptive statistics. The project will be forwarded to the Ethics Committee in Research of the School of Nursing of Ribeirão Preto - USP. It is expected that this system of data recording assists in the process of monitoring and assistance, as well as the provision of information related to case management and definition of intervention strategies for the qualification of attention and consequently better operationalization of records in order facilitate the transfer of information to the central and local levels, as well as enhance and effect the prevention and diagnosis of TB through the planning and access for health professionals and managers as from the recorded information.
