Abstract

At present, certain diseases/contagious are closer to the logic of confrontation of chronic diseases, such as tuberculosis (TB), whose persistence as a public health problem is given not only on how to detect and treat new cases, but in the Organization of health services to identify and assist the carriers of the disease. In this sense, the study aims to evaluate indicators of health services performance in TB control in some municipalities in São Paulo between the years 2010 to 2014, considering aspects of care, vulnerable populations and management. This is a survey of health programs and services evaluation, and to achieve the specific objectives will be used the descriptive and ecological studies. Municipalities in the State of São Paulo were selected due to the epidemiological situation assumed by disease and by the diversity of practice of Municipal Programs for TB Control (MPTC). For data collection, primary sources will be used: a semi-structured questionnaire will be provided online to MPTCs coordinators and Municipal Programs of Aids; and secondary sources: information systems in TB (TBWEB and SINAN), control system of laboratory tests, Logistics control system of Medicines; and IBGE, DAB/MS and DATASUS. We hope that this study provide information to support TB control actions, public policy formulation that the improvement of the management and operationalization of the tuberculosis control program in the context of the health system.
