Abstract

The effect caused by oxidative free radicals from the metabolism of O2 occurs naturally in the body. Oxidative stress, increase this condition is correlated to the onset of diseases and can be intensified due to exposure to external factors such as solar radiation, thus causing significant cellular damage, which can lead to accelerated aging of cells. Studies with plant extracts have shown that they contain compounds of pharmacological interest to treat and / or prevent cell damage caused by oxidative stress, which may result in an antioxidant action, sunscreen, anti-acne and antiglicante. Therefore, this project aims to evaluate the potential antioxidant, sunscreen, anti-acne and antiglicante of ethanolic and hydro-alcoholic fruit pericarp of Sapindus soapy and leaves Hancornia speciosa by testing in vitro using spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric techniques.
