Abstract

This study is in the research line of the group´s investigation. It intends to fill the gap indicated by the professional Council (CFP) as the need to extend the work of validity of the Fables test (TF). It remains widely used. The originality of this project is to study indicators of somatization - a problem still not placed on the studies about TF. But it is important in promoting child development. These indicators will be studied on the responses of 47 children, aged 4 to 12 years (16 with asthma, 18 with cancer, 13 healthy). Quantitative methodology is used in this project as descriptive statistics, statistical analysis of risk factors, and correlation tests. The assessment of indicators of somatization, with the external criterion measure of contrasting groups, will give the accuracy and validity of this instrument.
