Abstract

The Eucalyptus is one of Brazil's most important culture, constituting a source of energy and renewable wood, and important agro-industrial processes for the production of pulp, paper and others. Eucalyptus, like other species, is infected by a variety of pathogens, mainly fungi, from nursery to adult plantations in uniforms and monoclonal antibodies cultive. In monoculture situation, eucalyptus species susceptible to Puccinia psidii propagules from host species of Myrtaceae, when they reach the plantations can cause exodemia. After this event, the spores produced in pustules are disseminated and deposited on the same host or on another host around, which germinate, penetrate, colonize the tissue, forming new lesions and infections of continuous character (endodemia). Thus, it is expected that the eucalyptus crops with these non syndicated host, these diluting the inoculum may act as a physical barrier to the spread of reproductive structures of said pathogen. On the other hand, other beneficial interactions may be studied in the nutritional status, as positives may occur in eucalyptus, as a function of the consortium being a legume species, in combination with nitrogen-fixing bacteria can improve soil, providing nutrients to plants eucalyptus. Thus, the objective of this research is to investigate the effect of the combination of Eucalyptus grandis x E. urophylla and Acacia mangium on the occurrence and / or intensity of P. psidii pathogen rust of Myrtle, eucalyptus forest and the nutritional relating both the component crops as the intensity of the disease.
