Abstract The main goal of this project is to present a study on Homology of Fibre Spaces, based on the book of G.W. Whitehead: ``Elements of Homotopy Theory'' , culminating with a proof of ``A Classification Theorem For Fibre Spaces'' given by J.Stasheff. The demonstration uses the Dold-Lashof construction that will be studied in the book ``Fibration and their Classification'' of R.Piccinini and P.Pavesic. The project also includes part of the material: ``A crash course in quantum invariants of knots'', authored by Louis Funar, which will be developed by the student during his stay in the Institute Joseph Fourier, France, under the supervision of professor Funar. | |
