Abstract

The purpose of completing the internship at the Center for Studies in Geography and Planning (CEGO ), located at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra , is to analyze the effects of the restructuring process for milk producers and dairies located in the Central Region of Portugal identifying and comparing the reflections observed in the spatial area analyzed in the dissertation, developing , entitled : the production and processing of milk in the micro-region of Presidente Prudente Geographic : the case of the municipality of Presidente Bernardes - SP . Search will understand the effects of the restructuring process on the production and processing of milk , the importance of associations and the role of dairy products in the permanence of milk producers in activity in Brazil (particularly in the municipality of Presidente Bernardes - SP, micro-region Geographic Presidente Prudente) and in the Central Region of Portugal on the new requirements for the production and processing of milk .
