Abstract Through the means of field work, this research aims to follow a Partido dos Trabalhadores's alderman on his first term of office in the legislative chamber in a city on the State of São Paulo. I propose following his parliament activities in plenary (ordinary, solemn, extraordinary sessions and public hearings), as well as observing his relation with the other Aldermen inside and outside sessions, be them opposing or allied party. I also propose analyzing his means of relating to the voters, assessors, as well as the location of both his origin and where he attained the most votes and how all this relates to the Alderman's party being the only declared opposition. | |
