Abstract

The research aims to understand the interactional mechanisms that occur within groups of rational action and, above all, relate these interactional mechanisms to defining the list of demands and the framing of the action agenda of these groups. Thus, we intend to understand how certain associations structure their action based on the dynamics of intra-group relationships, this through the social roles that mediate intersubjective contacts. The ultimate agenda to be pursued, therefore, would result not only of "natural" interests that lead individuals to gather in certain groups, but also (perhaps especially) the ultimate object of a series of negotiations, conflicts, disputes and deliberations that delimit the final agenda of requests and the procedures to be employed, so as to ensure that these requests is to be incorporated in the symbolic and material capital of society. In short, we aim to expand the understanding that we have of rational action in the sphere of collective action.
