Abstract

The proposed research aims to analyze the design of Rural DevelopmentSustainable Microbasins II-market access-in the municipality of Pratânia and Pardinho,State of São Paulo in Brazil. The two counties make up the Rural Development Office(EDR) of Botucatu which had the greatest number of business plans approved in threefirst public project calls. Accordingly, we seek to understand the role ofreferred to public policy that seeks to strengthen and enhance the competitiveness of farmersfamily members organized into associations and cooperatives eou reduce its costs of production. As several surveys demonstrate the household production is seated on the diversificationproductive. Thus, this project goes against the grain of this social segment, theencourage specialization in a single product, through the Organization of prisonsproductive, which denotes changes in the shape of small farming production, i.e. fora clear tendency to reorganize or restructure household production through the projectSustainable Rural Development Microbasins II - market access (PDRS).
