Abstract The main topic of this project are phase transition phenomena in random combinatorial structures. In a phase transition, a growing random structure undergoes drastic structural changes in a short time span. Such phenomena have been vigorously studied in many contexts by researchers from various areas. In this project, we treat phase transition in the rigorous context of random graphs, a research area initiated by ErdQs and Rényi. We shall focus on classic random graph models, random graphs with constraints on their minimum degree, random geometric graphs, and random digraphs. | |
