Abstract

In this science to be developed, based on a survey of the concept and appearance of Amicus Curiae work we intend to address the procedural interest and acceptance for Amicus Curiae , as well as presenting the main performances of this institution in the Brazilian legal system , such as: 1. IBDFAM in homo-affective union; 2. CVM ( relating to capital market issues ); 3. Role of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense - CADE; 4. Role of the National Institute of Industrial Property - INPI; 5. Law 9.868/99 Article 7, paragraph 2 - Direct Action of Unconstitutionality and Declaratory Action of Constitutionality. The idea being developed has the ability to show different interpretations of the courts on the same subject, as well as the Amicus Curiae in the New Code of Civil Procedure project. The work will be completed with an explanation of the main figures of third parties in the Code of Civil Procedure comparing them with the institute researched now.
