Abstract In this project, we will study some quantum disordered systems of interacting fermions using approximation schemes such as Hartree or Hartree-Fock. A major part of this endeavor will be devoted to the application of already known techniques for the solution of systems of coupled non-linear equations (such as the modified Broyden method) to the search for solutions to the mean-field equations. We also aim at investigating the nature of the statistical correlations between the mean-field parameters induced by the interactions. | |
