Abstract

In the 70's of the twentieth century , was deployed Logos II Project in some states of Brazil, with the objective of forming lay teachers on emergency arrangements , with specialization in high school for practice of teaching . In the state of Rondônia (Former Federal Territory of Rondônia ) , preliminary surveys indicate that the design was developed in the 80's and 90's, in the cities of Porto Velho Porto Velho , Jaru , Ji - Paraná , Cacoal , Pimenta Bueno and Vilhena . The Logos II worked with modular system had a diverse and flexible plan activities in which the student established their own pace of learning is that the meetings with the supervisor of instruction were monthly , also happened when testing applications . Despite its importance for education in that state , there is no research on the deployment and actions of the Logos II in teacher education in the state of Rondônia . Thus , the master's project outlined here has the general objective to elaborate a story about the formation of these lay teachers in the state of Rondônia , which occurred through Project Logos II . This master's project is located in the area of History of Education , with an emphasis on teacher training and follows in the current historiography " Cultural History " and "micro - history " . As historical sources will be considered the laws , records of student enrollment , transcripts, degrees, diaries, brochures and photos of students , and interviews will be conducted with students , teachers and coordinators of that design Logos II . Analytical method will be used as the content analysis , which according to Bardin cited in Gil (2010 , p.152 ) , is divided into three phases : Pre - analysis, exploration and interpretation of the material .
