Abstract

This research project will focus on the study of poetry produced in Brazil and Portugal, from the last decade of the twentieth century to the beginning of the new millennium. With the articulation of a comparativist perspective between the two literatures, we intend to map the relationships involving art and culture in the context of a period marked by the binding of a broad spectrum of discursive and disciplinary settings, as well as by questioning the very meaning of history. Important to the Literature, History and Globalization study reveals the updated poetic written in the light of theoretical debates in language processing - under the influence of a precise epochal situation, under the sign of the mutation/crossover - in cultural-historical voltage of the years between 1990-2010.
