Abstract

In modern power systems (smart grid) mainly microgrid very relevant situations such as the presence of voltage unbalance and harmonic distortion, typical of weak grid, carriage challenges for defining the mode of power systems operation, in terms of modelling and analysis of power systems, power measurement instruments, power quality monitoring or control strategy of power converters, in order to mitigate power quality problems and the grid interface. Thus, the present project aims to analyze and study the Conservative Power Theory to obtain equivalent circuits of different linear and/or nonlinear loads. These equivalent circuits were to be composed of associations (series or parallel) of conductances, susceptances, harmonic current sources and/or harmonics voltage sources. Thus, the equivalent circuit should help to understanding the power phenomena in modern power systems.
