Abstract

The present project aims to analyze and study the energy flow and oscillations in linear and nonlinear electrical circuits. The study will be based in the Conservative Power Theory, and were to be associated with the phenomena of nonlinearities (harmonics), asymmetries (unbalanced) and angular deviation between voltage and current (reactive) with the oscillations and the energy flow. Thus, expected to help understand the power of phenomena in modern electrical systems (smart grid), where the presence of energy sources with intermittent behavior (wind and photovoltaic) are increasingly used. Furthermore, the voltages may be unbalanced and/or distorted. (AU)
