Abstract

Palliative care is a relatively new speciality in Brazil, but the knowledge about it has been very relevant in medical practice. This scientific study aims to evaluate the knowledge of the medical students of FAMERP. The evaluation will be done by applying a modified questionnaire (Self efficacy in Palliative Care Scale - SEPC) for medical students attending the second, fourth and sixth year. In addition, the secondary objective of this study is to evaluate the opinion of the medical students about the necessity to include practical and theoretical classes in curriculum of medicine in FAMERP.
