The proposal under evaluation involves the study about stereoelectronic interactions responsible for the conformational preference for 2,5-difluoro-1,4-cyclohexanediol, and also the transmission mechanism responsible for the 1hJFH(OH) coupling constant through hydrogen bond. The joint experimental and theoretical data may allow us to determine the most important interactions responsible for the conformational stability and also for the experimental NMR parameters for studied system.
