Abstract

This research will analyze the process of recontextualization via hybridization of the Proposed Curriculum of Geography Teaching 1989 elaborated by the department of Studies and Pedagogical Standards (CENP) the current official curriculum document of Basic Education in geography of the São Paulo State. Even considering the many changes in Brazilian society, which occurred from the 1980s, it can be observed that there is a permanence of the speeches from different times / contexts in current scholar curriculum. This project aims to understand how the current methodological flow represented by critical geography which bases the Curriculum Proposal of CENP of the late 1980s still influences most of the current curriculum. This influence will be analyzed based on the concept of recontextualization by hybridity, formulated by Alice Casimiro Lopes from the concepts of hybridity, Canclini and recontextualization of Bernstein.
