Abstract

The following reserch project has, as main objective, the conception and construction of an equipament for incremental sheet metal forming, using an hidraulic system, which will allow to substitute the most commom process, with CNCs machines, that shows some limitations, for not being specific designed for this process. The new system will be hidraulic, controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller, responsible to insure its movements accuracy. The project will be developed at Mechanical Forming Laboratory, at Faculty of Machanical Engineering, at University of Campinas (UNICAMP).
