Abstract

Abstract: In my masters' dissertation I will analyze the grading standards used by teachers in public schools of São Paulo, focusing on their relationship to student learning. The dissertation can be divided in two parts: (i) estimation of teachers' grading standards, based on the Three-Parameter Logistic Item Response Theory Model; and (ii) investigation the existence of a relationship between grading standards and student learning.
