Abstract

Stimulus equivalence has been studied as the basis of concept formation by several authors. By the other side, demonstration of the formation of equivalent classes by nonhuman animals has been very difficult. Some authors have demonstrated the formation of concepts "equal to" and "different of" using olfactive stimuli. This project intends to replicate those findings, specifically trying to demonstrate formation of the "different of" concept.
