Abstract New permanent magnet designs based on a Halbach array have recently enabled the performance of high resolution spectroscopy in compact inexpensive low-field systems. For these sensors, protocols for fast acquisitions are widely desired due to their potential application in industries such as process and quality control. The focus of this research internship abroad is to develop and apply fast 1D and 2D NMR methods for industrial applications in those compact systems. Therefore, the implementation of Steady State Free Precession (SSFP) sequences for spectral acquisition and Driven-Equilibrium Carr-Purcell Meiboom-Gill (DECPMG) for relaxation time acquisitions will be mainly explored and developed. In conjunction with these fast acquisition methods, the advanced processing method named Filter Diagonalization Method (FDM) will be applied to improve the information extractable from the NMR data.
