Abstract

Changes in the labor market due to the crises of the fordist taylorist model, new forms of production, economics global and job systems changes created the necessity of a new work's model known as flexible. This model allows to the companies reduce the amount of work, adopting outsourcing practices, beyond use new ways to organize their internal process. Besides, the flexible model purpose became equal the workers and managers interests and increase the productivity innovating and raising the quality to reach a higher level of competitiveness and profit. The flexible work arrangements are becoming more used due to changes in the work force profiles and in the companies scenario's. The purpose of this study is to understand the flexible types used and their consequences for the workers from companies of the third sector in the city of Ribeirão Preto and region. In this way the objective is to investigate how the changes in work processes and in the organizational contexts, like part-time jobs, temporary work and outsourcing, affect the one who works, your health and well-being and the companies from the third sector.
