Abstract

The perennial summer grass it is enough to fill nutritional needs of cattle in the Southeast during the spring/summer, but in autumn/ winter these grass have low development even in irrigated conditions, due to the reduction in air temperatures. Thus, the use of annual winter grass as over seeded can be a viable option for intensification of grazing production system in winter. The objective of this project is to evaluate the total production of dry matter and crude protein from two Oat cultivars under different levels of nitrogen fertilization.
