Abstract

The acting of Non-Governmental Organizations, especially in the environmental and educational areas, has grown and become more emblematic lately. Although there have been several efforts to evaluate the quality of the actions in environmental education performed by them, we have not found studies which analyze them widely and deeply. Thus, this study aims to map the environmental Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in the state of São Paulo, identify and analyze the actions in environmental education under the perspective of the historical-critical pedagogy and critical conceptions of environmental education. As research procedures, we will collect and analyze documents and conduct semistructured interviews based on content analysis. (AU)
