Abstract

Based on the research about the relationship between Richard Neutra and the Brazilians, the need arises for a better understanding about the historical moment of this exchange, not only from the standpoint of Brazilians reception of the Austrian architect rooted in USA, but also in respect of the foreign view for Latin American architects and architecture. For this, a search in the Benson Latin American Collection, University of Texas at Austin library, will be held as well as participation in lectures and in the research group Latin American Modern Architecture, LAMAS. This exchange stands as of great importance in the discussion that proposes the master research Richard Neutra and Brazil. (AU)
