Abstract

This Project is linked to the Acting Study Group developed by undergraduate students in Acting from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), under the guidance of Professor Dr. Eduardo Okamoto. The target of this research is to develop the concepts of "multiculturalism", "interculturalism", "transcultural" and "intraculturalidade" on Jerzy Grotowski's work, a Polish director who became a worldwide reference. The Project's desire is to enhance and improve the actor's performance through debates about Grotowski's work. Moreover, this research will infer elements with the theatrical and artistic creation in social, historic, and cultural contexts. (AU)
