Abstract

This project aims to analyze the work of Brazilian immigrants in Japan, known as dekasseguis and their transversalities, aims to analyze, how is the dynamic of the inter-relationship between social class, ethnicity and gender in the Japan. The immigrant worker Dekassegui, has the particularity insertion into foreign territory in the figure to be the "other" inserted in class society. However, beyond this insertion in the class structure, the immigrant condition is cleaved by social distinctions of ethnicity and gender, characterizing it as a paradigm for the study of the intersection of social relations. Far beyond the study of work stricto sensu, the study of these interrelationships involves the analysis of discriminatory experiences experienced by the dekasseguis. As analysis of the material conditions of life, will investigate the salary / work conditions / contracts and differentiated civil rights for immigrants. About the discriminatory experiences, we refer to xenophobia, racism, sexism. We chose to research the Brazilian immigrant workers employed in the auto industry and the Japanese electronics sector. As a hypothesis, we believe that the inter-relationship between these social distinctions tends to improve process of exploitation / domination. Through this study, we aim to contribute to the studies of the problem of the relationship between class, ethnicity and gender for the Sociology of Work. (AU)
