Abstract

In this project will be make analysis for the characterization sludge located on the stabilization pond from one of water treatment stations around the region, and also methodological studies that allow the determination of a great dosage of coagulant from the results of Jar-test. After the Jar-test proceedings, the ludge will be taken to the continuous flow process on the sludge flocculation-decanter container, to make the solid-liquid separation. The goal of this project is having a better liquid solid separation according with taken dosages on the Jar-test and estimate the amount of not used sludged, so making relations between dosages and the period of interrupting the process to evacuate the ludge, to use on the sludge treatment proceeding.
