Abstract Obesity is currently a condition absolutely out of control, where anti-inflammatory therapies or surgical procedures (bariatric surgery) are ineffective. Among the myriad of aggregated disease to obesity, type 2 diabetes (T2D) stands as the apex of uncontrolled metabolic disease. Meanwhile, changes in lifestyle thus remains to be the basic instrument. Chronic low-grade inflammation is the background for the metabolic disorder, in this context, the liver emerges as one of the main organs affected. In general, unsaturated fatty acids of the omega-3 series (w3) can help reverse the process, through its GPR120 receptor, which decouples the inflammatory process derived from Toll like receptors and TNF-±. Nevertheless, the physical exercise also impacts negatively on the progression of the inflammatory process. In this intention, this project aims to evaluate the effects of physical exercise coupled with nutrition, since physical activity seems to be able to modulate the expression of type receptors GPR120. Therefore, when using these two instruments in a coordinated manner, we may have to recover the metabolic process orchestrated by the liver more competently. Outcomes in physical exercise and Nutrigenomics in this study may perhaps open new types of strategies, even based on old science, nutrition and sport. (AU) | |
