Abstract

The measurement of the nuclear reaction of 16O+60Ni at 280 MeV will be performed with the MAGNEX spectrometer. The beam will be provided by the Superconducting Cyclotron (CS) of the Laboratori Nazionali del Sud (LNS), Catania, Italy. The objective is to verify the predictions, based on coupled channel calculations with a Sao Paulo potential optical model, of the ocurrence of rainbow-like scattering. (AU)
