Abstract

In the increasingly expanded field of digital culture or cyberculture, new terms are emerging whose meanings are not prima facie understandable. So are terms like "post-virtual", "post-digital", "digital divide", and "beyond the digital" . I chose to work on the post-virtual and post-digital because they more specifically concerned with the context of the arts. The issue that this project proposes are: How research practices, and critical artistic practices in the field of net culture are being affected by the post-digital? For this, the goals are: To investigate the theoretical literature and criticism that are emerging under the aegis of the post-digital. To select the existing documentation on events held in this area. To analyze processes and artistic works that are located under the umbrella of the post-digital. To map the territories of research and practices that are consolidating as new trends in network culture. Given the existence of some major research centers in Germany which are working on the subject of the post-digital, for the development of my research, the aim of this application is to spend almost two months of research in Germany, which includes visits to some of these centers.
