Abstract

Despite its importance, there are many Brazilian occurrences of rare minerals not completely characterized. In order to deal with this issue, this project aims to identify rare mineral species from the Volta Grande pegmatites, Nazareno, MG. We will use different characterization techniques together: Raman spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and electron microprobe.
