Abstract

This project is part of a research for The Railway Heritage Preservation: analysis of the process about the PerusPirapora Railway (FAPESP 2014/04139-6) master's program.Among the partial results of this research we identified that the official preservation practices focused especially at isolated buildings. Situation criticized by part of the authors, for example Rodrigues (2010). With this, the research internship will be a demand for other theoretic-methodologic possibilities for the interpretation of the railway heritage. We have as goal our technic and methodologic development for industrial spaces analysis. In addition for these results, we will elaborate an investigation guide for an interpretation exercise about PerusPiraporaRailway'scollection, our analysis object. The University of Seville was the chosen institution for the internship according to its professors and theiralready developed works in related themes. We highlight yet, the experience of the architect Enrique LariveLopez, responsible for the internship, in analysis of the production's landscape and interpretation of the industrial spaces.
