Abstract

If we divide the International Relations Theory in first (between the 1920's and the 1950's), second (between the 1950's and the 1960's) and third "debates" (after the 1970's), we can conclude that the theorical discussion of the multiculturalism in this discipline occurss, essentially, in the field of the big and diversified theorization that was done after the 1970's, whose influence would become even more outstanding with the end of the Cold War. Essentially based on the interaction between the International Relations Theory and the studies about the culture, this chain has become very important in the nowadays discussions about this discipline. This project intends to promote a mapping of the multiculturalist theories, highlighting their main sides, authors and concepts, like subsidy to more deep future studies. (AU)
