Abstract

The research proposed by this Project intends to examine, through the selected bibliography, two Brazilian audiovisual productions regarding the construction of the horror genre in web series narratives and its particularities, such as episodic structure, length and periodicity, financing and distribution. Using as objects of analysis the web series Nerd of the Dead and Apocalipze, the Brazilian samples with highest number of online viewers, a descriptive panorama will be elaborated, contributing for the comprehension of these products, its tendencies and consolidated characteristics.
