Abstract

The tonic of this project is an improvement in the student's formation in Physics and Mathematics, aiming at having him prepared for future participation in research projects in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics. We will seek to advance in the study of themes related to Functional Analysis, Differential Geometry, Classical Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics. This will serve as a basis for a future, deeper study of the Classical Theory of Fields and of the General Theory of Relativity and for an introduction to the Quantum Theory of Fields. As a work project, to be developed concomitantly with the study plan, the student will elaborate a monograph in the field of Special Relativity.
