Abstract

During the period between February 23 rd and May 10th the research abroad aims tostrengthen the studies about the American relation and influence in the Brazilian energeticsector through Tennessee Valley Authority, TVA, and experience focusing to analyze itsreproduction during the organization of the Urubupungá Hydroelectric Complex. Thus, it ishighlight the importance of carrying out research at National Archives and RecordsAdministration's southeastern branch, in Atlanta/Georgia and at University of Tennessee'sSpecial Collections Library, Knoxville/Tennessee. These mentioned archives and theirdocumentation collaborate to fill up the gaps in the development of our research and tocontribute to a range of works related to the same theme. (AU)
